We make every effort to ensure that a suitable room is available within 15 miles of our clients’ addresses on the UK mainland. However, in some rare cases where a suitable venue is not available, we’ll work closely with the client to identify various locations in their vicinity. We’ll take into account all factors necessary to conduct the test professionally and make a decision that best suits our client’s needs.

WHAT IS A CONTROLLED OFFICE?

An office also needs to be a suitable environment with no distractions like a glass pane or people walking past the window as the test is being conducted. Experienced examiners only conduct the test in a suitable office environment with four walls.

WHAT DOES “VOID OF DISTURBANCE” MEAN?

An experienced and professional examiner knows that the environment during a polygraph test needs to be “still.” This means that the person being examined should not be distracted in any way during the test, including distractions like a barking dog or someone walking past a window. A genuine examiner would pay attention to this level of detail before conducting the test.
