Polygraph testing is not a novelty in this country. Section 28 of the Offender Management Act 2007 allows the Secretary of State to make polygraph testing a condition of licence, and HM Prison and Probation Service has tested people convicted of sexual offences under it for over a decade. Parliament has since extended it twice — to domestic abuse perpetrators, and again through the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act.

The process
Four steps, and you keep control of every one
Nothing is decided without you. You can speak to the examiner before you commit to a date, and the test cannot proceed without your written consent on the day.

Reserve with £150
Our booking fee holds the slot and covers our online pre-examination assessment and arranging the examination with an independent, qualified examiner; the rest of the price is the examiner’s fee, paid directly to your examiner. You can leave the exact date open and settle it with the examiner.
Pre-test consultation
Your examiner calls you to agree the questions. Anything that cannot be tested reliably, they will tell you plainly.
Examination and report
About two hours in the office. Your examiner gives you the result before you leave, and the written analysis follows within 24–48 hours.
